Are you passionate about making public transport simpler, fairer and more accessible for passengers?
We’re looking for a Network Development Planner (Fares and Ticketing) to lead the design and delivery of fare and ticketing products across the region’s bus network, supporting over 20 million journeys a year. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll shape fare policy, improve customer experience and work at the heart of public transport innovation.
You’ll collaborate with local authorities, operators and suppliers to deliver practical, customer‑focused solutions – managing contracts, budgets and programmes while keeping a strong focus on value for money and passenger outcomes.
About you
You’ll bring experience of fares, ticketing or customer‑focused service design in a public transport or regulated environment, with strong analytical skills and confidence working across multiple stakeholders. You’ll be organised, data‑driven and comfortable navigating political and contractual contexts.
Why join us?
You’ll help shape the future of bus travel in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, working on projects that genuinely improve how people move around the region – with the opportunity to influence long‑term fare and ticketing strategy.
