We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Pharmacist with excellent organisational skills to join our team in Outpatient Pharmacy.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Outpatient pharmacy team, you would contribute to the provision of a range of pharmaceutical services: issuing prescriptions, giving advice where appropriate, working alongside pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy dispensing assistants to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures to meet the needs of our customers.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) provides hospital services to around 570,000 people living in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire, and specialist services to patients from all over the country. We deliver a full range of district hospital services in a variety of locations.
The Outpatient pharmacies are based on the Basingstoke and Winchester sites of Hampshire Hospitals and this position involves cross-site working. Our opening times are Monday - Friday 8:30am 5pm and weekend working is not required.

This post would suit somebody with a hospital pharmacy background, or with community pharmacy experience wishing to make a change into the hospital environment. Further training and development will be provided.

Person specification
Education & Qualification
* MPharm or equivalent
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Evidence of continuous professional practice and education, clearly recorded in current professional profile
* Post graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy
Experience & Knowledge
* Ability to present a high level of personal credibility
* Demonstrates the ability to ensure that the delivery of patient care is of a high standard and appropriate in meeting the needs and expectations of the patients and their relatives
* Advanced communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
* Experience of working with a team within pharmacy, such as dispensary or on the ward
