The Company
This lovely agency are going from strength to strength delivering global high profile events for a range of pharma and healthcare clients. With a fun and dynamic culture they have a friendly and supportive office environment where hybrid flexible working is encouraged after training period. Working with some big name brands they deliver logistically complex events for delegate numbers in the 1000's all over the world and are now seeking an experienced Venue Sourcing Consultant or Manager to join them!
The Role
The role will lead on sourcing unusual, large scale global venues across a range of exciting destinations working mainly on Cvent as well as with key account managers within hotel and venue groups. You will lead each new enquiry from the client / team and get under the skin of the brief to be able to research and present venue proposals tailored to each event. Negotiating the best rates, commissions and upselling commercial opportunities will also be part of the role. With an already established venue knowledge you will build this in the role by attending site visits and FAM trips as necessary.
About you
Currently working for a venue sourcing agency or event management agency within a venue sourcing role, you have a real passion for venues and finding new and exciting options for your clients. Experience in healthcare or pharma events would be an added advantage and the compliance regulations in the industry. Cvent or similar software for venue sourcing will be essential, and a good network of venue partners. A commercial and savvy thinker, this is a proactive role where ideally we seek a West Yorkshire based candidate but are open to hybrid and remote workers.
