Masterclass Education is delighted to be working with a specialist SEN school in Eastbourne that provides a supportive and nurturing environment for pupils aged 4–11 with a range of learning difficulties.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Teaching Assistants and individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking to begin a fulfilling career in special education.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting children aged 4–16 with a variety of learning difficulties, including Autism, global developmental delay, and speech and language needs
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering fun, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet each child’s individual learning goals
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to help children develop key skills and confidence
* Using strategies such as visual supports, sensory play, and communication aids (training provided if needed)
* Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and self-esteem in every pupil
* Supporting children during lessons, playtimes, and transitions throughout the school day
* Promoting a caring, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals (school or care settings welcome)
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children with additional needs
Essential Requirements
* Passion for helping every child reach their full potential
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
