Financial Controller - Nottingham - £75,000 + hybrid working (4 days on-site) + flex start and finish timesWe are working exclusively with an innovative International organisation who are looking for a Financial Controller to play a key role within their organisation. If you are a commercially minded finance leader with a passion for accuracy, controls and team development then this role could be perfect for you.This is a high-impact role with real ownership of the financial control environment, statutory reporting and the end-to-end planning cycle across multiple entities. You’ll lead a motivated finance team and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting, ensuring the business remains compliant and well-positioned for future growth.What you’ll be doingOwning the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial accounting systemsLeading Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit Control and cash managementOverseeing budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planningPreparing statutory accounts and managing the audit process across all countries of operationEnsuring full compliance with VAT, Customs and other statutory reporting requirementsProducing monthly management accounts and board packsReviewing and strengthening financial controls and proceduresCoaching and developing the finance team to deliver high performancePresenting financial insight to the Senior Leadership Team and BoardAbout youFully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)Track record in financial control, statutory reporting and auditStrong team leadership and people development skillsExcellent understanding of financial planning, cashflow and controlsAdvanced IT skills and comfortable working in a dynamic, growing environmentConfident communicator who can influence at senior levelsKnowledge of safeguarding (or willingness to develop this as part of the role)Why join?This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Controller who wants to step into a visible and influential role where they can truly shape financial operations and support strategic growth.
