We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Key Account Manager to accelerate sales growth and build long-term customer partnerships across a defined territory. In this role, you’ll represent our innovative waste water heat recovery solutions—helping customers unlock sustainable energy savings while reducing carbon impact. You’ll identify and develop new business opportunities, nurture existing key accounts, and act as a trusted advisor to a diverse group of stakeholders. Taking a consultative approach, you’ll work closely with customers to understand their technical and commercial needs, guiding projects from initial conversations through to order placement. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Sales & Business Development Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory Identify and develop new business opportunities across relevant market sectors Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring long-term relationships Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast accurately Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Build relationships with key decision-makers including consultants, engineers, contractors, developers, and end users Promote the technical and commercial benefits of waste water heat recovery systems Provide product presentations, CPDs, and technical overviews to customers and stakeholders Support customers through the sales process, from initial enquiry to order placement Project Support & Coordination Work closely with internal teams including technical, engineering, and operations to support live projects Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and managed Assist with quotations, specifications, and project tracking Market & Territory Management Develop and implement a territory sales plan aligned with company objectives Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions, and industry meetings Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM system Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline activity Skills & Experience Essential Proven experience in a field-based sales role Strong track record of achieving sales targets Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage a territory and work independently Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Desirable Experience in renewable energy, heat recovery, HVAC, or building services Technical sales experience or ability to understand engineered solutions Experience selling through specification and project-based sales channels
