ESTATE SECRETARY / ADMINISTRATOR Background of the role: A country estate in Northumberland requires an Estate Secretary/Administrator to assist the Property Director and team with general administrative duties. The workload will be varied with a primary focus on property and asset management, maintenance, budgeting, compliance etc all based in a newly refurbished Estate Office. This role will suit someone that really wants to own this new role, grab opportunities, thinks for themselves, can take direction/is willing to learn, relishes in processes and procedures, can work autonomously and has a can do/helpful attitude. Hours/Place of Work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (however open to slightly different hours if required) Based in the newly refurbished Property Office, 20 mins from Alnwick Over time, very open to this role becoming hybrid working if required Please note the office is based at the Principal’s home, who has two dogs Candidate requirements Proven experience as an administrator Ideally experience in the Property or Estate sector An eye for detail and highly organised, able to prioritise Ability to work to deadlines Can work within a small team as well as autonomously Experience in Flixflo is an advantage but not a requirement Duties - General (but not limited to) To lead the creation, maintenance and reporting on the property management system, FixFlo (training courses and bespoke training available) First line contact for property issues Organising meter readings on a regular basis Management of suppliers, and contractors Arranging regular servicing (boilers, chimneys, water services, etc) Arranging regular Health and Safety servicing (PAT testing, gas certs, etc) Creation and maintaining property filing, hard and soft copy Diary management for the Property Director Ad-hoc admin tasks as required Reporting to the Property Director Package Up to £28k per annum depending on experience 28 days holiday including Bank holidays Standard pension (NEST)
