JOB DESCRIPTIONOverviewThe focus of this role is to provide the Sales Account with an accurate and timely order verification and processing service, delivering best in class sales order management, so that the Customer onboarding experience delivers as advised at point of sale.The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:Process all assigned sales orders accurately and on time daily, weekly, and monthly, and own the journey flow of every sale through to connectionMaintain daily report of all orders and be able to provide on-demand updates for stake-holders, management and clients on status of all salesEnsure compliance in all sales processing and reportingComplete order verification calls with Customers to confirm details of their orderTake ownership of the sales pipeline to ensure all sales are proactively managed from receive to connected to give 100% connection rate for the clientWork closely with the sales team to ensure strong communication resulting in maximum return of sales received to connectedIdentify opportunities to add value and enhance the service provided to the sales team and the clientGeneral administration duties as required to support the successful functioning of the sales teamRequirementsRequired Experience & Competencies:At least 12 month’s experience in a fast past-paced operations or administrative rolePrior experience and proven advanced ability in Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)Passion for ownership of a process or workstream to deliver success through autonomyAbility to perform in a team environment and on own initiativeComfortable liaising with Customers by phone and naturally Customer centricPERSON SPECIFICATIONS (i.e. the knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics required for performing the job effectively)Essential:Previous experience in sales order management, processing and/or reportingExperience within the Utilities sectors, either sales based or operations/adminInitiative and ability to perform independently and without direct supervisionProblem solving skillsEffective time management and organisation skillsCommitment to process and account improvements through constructive critical appraisal of roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsCommunication Skills:Ability to communicate with people from all levels within an organisationAbility to verbally express oneself clearly, face to face and by phoneAbility to communicate and present material in multimedia formatAbility to present data, numbers and tables clearly with focus on relevance and clarityBenefitsHybrid workingBasic Salary - £21,000Performance Bonus - 10%EAP ProgrammeBonus related to performanceTaxSaverBike to WorkMeasures of SuccessDelivery of client and our KPIs as assignedIdentify and implement minimum one new way of working per quarter which provides efficiencies and adds value for our company and ClientsSupport the sales Team(s) to deliver their sales targets through exceptional order processing, journey flow and connection management
