Job Overview
Having recently unlocked increased data availability with Zooplus, we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-orientated Business Intelligence (BI) Lead to join our team. The BI Lead exists to translate data into commercial insight, ensuring our sales strategies, customer engagement and execution plans are informed by robust analytics that translate into mutual growth and enhanced retailer partnership.
The BI Manager acts as a strategic enabler for the broader Zooplus team and offers both a rare and exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up with a major European retailer. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of data and a passion for problem solving.

What will be your key responsibilities?
1. Zooplus Data & Analytics Strategy
5. Direct leadership of the creation and deployment of a 3-year vision & strategy for Zooplus data & analytics
2. Deployment Roadmap & Implementation
6. Ensure best in class execution of this strategy by taking full ownership of Zooplus data & reporting. This will be achieved in 2 ways:
(i) Translating business needs into data requirements and BI solutions by:
7. Defining and driving the vision for key performance indicators (KPIs) and business intelligence strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to align with organizational goals
8. Overseeing the integration of complex data ecosystems (., Zooplus, 1CPL – our internal finance tool, and other internal sources), ensuring unified, accurate, and actionable data models for cross-functional insights.
9. Leading the design, development, and governance of Zooplus tools to enable data-driven decision-making across all business levels.
10. Championing a self-service BI culture by enabling stakeholders through training, clear documentation, and scalable data solutions.
11. Establishing data quality standards and performance monitoring frameworks, ensuring data is fit for business value.
12. Mentoring and guiding BI and analytics teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability
(ii) Using the data to drive insights to action through:
13. Establishing and overseeing frameworks for tracking and reporting critical business health metrics ensuring alignment with Zooplus and Mars objectives for mutual growth.
14. Leading the identification of strategic risks and opportunities through advanced analytical deep dives, transforming complex data into clear, actionable intelligence for senior decision-makers.
15. Synthesising and communicating insights in a compelling, executive-ready format to influence both internal stakeholders (., Mars leadership) and external partners (., Zooplus).
16. Driving cross-functional alignment and execution of data-informed strategies, ensuring insights are not only understood but also embedded into commercial action plans via the Zooplus Customer Team.
17. Fostering a culture of proactive insight generation, enabling the business to anticipate challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities
