The role involves working with pupils who have a combination of medical, physical and cognitive learning needs. Staff provide highly structured support to help pupils access a personalised curriculum that includes communication development, sensory learning and functional academic skills. The class has eight pupils and benefits from excellent staffing support, with one teacher and six Teaching Assistants working closely together to provide consistent, attentive support throughout the day.
