Laboratory Technician (QA)
Our client, based in Houghton Le Spring, is recruitinga Laboratory Technician to join their team.
The main function of the role will be to assist with the testing and validation of new plant equipment plus other ongoing projects and analysis.
This will involve: undertaking quantitative and qualitative analyses of activated material used in industrial, defence and medical applications, utilising standard classical analytical methods.
Typical responsibilities include:
1. Using a range of techniques, software, and equipment to carry out analyses, including: gravimetric analysis, titrimetric analysis, spectroscopy (UV, AA and ICP-OES, as well as physical testing methods (eg tensile breaking strengths).
