Estimator (Manufacturing)Cardiff£30'000 - per annum + pension, Life Insurance and more.An exciting opportunity to join a successful award-winning market leader, who has supplied high-quality products and trusted building solutions to some of the most iconic and high-profile projects around the world.Salary & Benefits:A starting salary of £30'0009% company pension (5% employer contribution + 4% employee contribution)up to 26 days holiday plus bank holidaysSick pay schemeLife insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree on-site car parkingExcellent training and development Roles & Responsibilities:Review enquiries to ensure the ability to supply compliant quotations within the company's product range.Ensure all quotations are 100% accurate, including relevant margins, and comply with certification requirements.Manage quote amendments pre- and post-sale to meet customer and project needs. - Raise DFA's (Design for Approval) when required, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Communicate regularly with external customers to ensure comprehensive and compliant quotations.Maintain regular customer contact regarding key quotations to address inquiries and updates.Answer general technical enquiries, including specifications, certifications, and building regulations, consulting the technical team when necessary.Follow all standard operating procedures and processes to ensure consistency and quality.Continuously look for ways to improve the quoting process and contribute to operational efficiencies.Ensure KPIs related to estimation and customer engagement are met consistently.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer roleEducated to HNC level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline would be beneficial.Lean ManagementMust be fully proficient in the use of software Microsoft office.
