As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to support delivery on our projects in and around Doncaster.
The Role
This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for overseeing day-to-day groundworks operations on site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will be site-based in Doncaster, managing operatives and coordinating subcontractors across active developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising groundworks teams on site, ensuring productivity and high standards of workmanship.
* Coordinating day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are completed in line with programme requirements.
* Ensuring full compliance with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
* Delivering and monitoring site-specific RAMS.
* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
* Assisting with material and plant requisitions.
* Overseeing works including:
* Roads & sewers
* RC foundations (ring beam & strip foundations)
* External works
Experience Required
The candidate must have proven experience in:
* Roads & sewers
* RC foundations – ring beam & strip foundations
Additionally
* Previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisor role.
* Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple activities effectively.
* Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
