Friendly medium size law firm based in Hertfordshire are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their very successful Conveyancing team. The firm are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience assisting with a busy caseload of Residential Conveyancing files and will also consider Paralegals and Secretaries who are confident in assisting in Conveyancing and interested in taking on more responsibility.
Essential knowledge for Conveyancing Assistant:
A thorough understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish
Able to work without a case management system to open files including AML, drafting initial letters and the contract of sale, request management packs, apply for office copies and familiarity with Land Registry portal, drafting TR1s and completing and submitting SDLT forms and AP1 forms, dealing with Land Registry requisitions, replying promptly to client queries and assisting a busy residential conveyancer.
Essential skills for Conveyancing Assistant:
Ability to work quickly and accurately and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Good telephone manner
