Job Description
You will act as the firm's most senior legal adviser, supporting partners and leadership with commercial, governance and risk matters across the business:
3. Provide oversight of commercial contracts and complex negotiations
4. Take ownership of international risk and regulatory matters including conflicts, data incidents, and governance matters
5. Drive improvements to internal frameworks, building on existing work around processes, templates, and internal playbooks
6. Lead on data protection and information risk
7. Overseeing entity governance and company secretarial activity across multiple jurisdictions
8. Instruct & manage external counsel
9. Line manage internal Counsel
The Successful Applicant
You will be a strong commercial & corporate Lawyer with experience covering business strategy needs:
10. Experience working in the UK as a qualified Solicitor
11. In-house experience in a consulting firm, advisory business, LLP, or professional services environment is preferable
12. Comfortable advising senior stakeholders with strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic risk approach
13. Immediately available for a fixed-term contract of 6-months
