About the Role
Job Title: Area Sales Executive – Southern area – base Wetherby
Location: 1 Week in-office (Wetherby, North Yorkshire base), 1 Week in South of England
Salary: £38k – OTE £47K
Requirements: Full Driving Licence Essential

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team and manage key accounts in the South of England. This is a hybrid role, involving one week in-office at Wetherby and one week traveling across the South, meeting clients and generating new business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in face-to-face B2B sales, preferably within building and hardware industries, with full product training provided, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management:
o Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients within the South of England.
o Provide tailored solutions and product recommendations.
o Act as the primary contact for client inquiries, ensuring prompt responses.
o Manage and grow sales within existing accounts, identifying upselling opportunities.
2. New Business Development:
o Prospect and identify new opportunities within the South region.
o Build and maintain a pipeline through outreach and networking.
o Present and demonstrate products to new clients.
o Negotiate and close sales to meet targets.
3. Sales Strategy & Reporting:
o Develop sales strategies to achieve regional goals.
o Provide regular sales reports and market feedback.
o Maintain accurate records of interactions and activities.
4. Collaboration & Support:
o Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product availability.
o Provide feedback on customer needs to inform product development.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in face-to-face sales, ideally in building materials or hardware industries, but not essential.
* Understanding of the South of England market is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and independent worker.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Ability to travel bi-weekly within the South of England.
* Full UK driving license.
