Solutions Tender Engineer Location - Telford, Leeds or Hatfield, UK

We’re now looking for a Solutions Tender Engineer to join our UK team. This role is at the heart of our UK Solution Centre business, working with medium and low‑voltage switchgear, power and distribution transformers, EV‑charging infrastructure, UPS, cooling equipment, containerised solutions and services for utilities, DNOs, renewables, contracting, datacentres sectors and other large‑scale infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
* Analyse complex RFQs and deliver best‑in‑class tender proposals.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the solution meets or exceeds customer demands.
* Perform cost planning, risk assessments, optimise solutions along with technical support teams and enhance profitability to ensure seamless project execution.
* Co‑lead negotiations with customers and suppliers to secure orders.
Qualifications
* Proactive profile with strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with a focus on collaboration.
* Technical expertise in cost planning, bid/tender management or execution of projects for utilities, DNOs, renewables, contracting, datacentres or large‑scale infrastructure projects (medium and low‑voltage electrical systems).
* Familiarity with one or more of the following solutions: medium and low‑voltage switchgear, power and distribution transformers, EV‑charging infrastructure, UPS, cooling equipment, containerised solutions and respective implementation services.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Degree‑level education in Engineering, Project Management or Business, or equivalent experience.
* Previous work experience in sales, tendering or execution of electrical infrastructure projects.
