Oldham Council – Oldham, UK.
Salary: £31,885 – £33,486 per annum plus £1,539 SEN allowance. Contract: Fixed‑term to 31 August 2026 (or sooner if the postholder returns). Hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week, term‑time plus 5 days (195 days). Commencing: As soon as possible. Closing date: Monday 27 October 2025 (8 am).
Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated Education, Health & Care Plan Lead to be fully responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, coordination and facilitation of individual Education, Health and Care plans and their annual review for students at New Bridge School, New Bridge Multi‑Academy Trust. The post is MAT Leave cover.
Responsibilities
 * Ensure all processes relating to individual Education, Health and Care plans comply with regulatory requirements.
 * Coordinate and facilitate the annual review process for each student.
 * Work flexibly with the school’s pastoral team to promote collaborative working and partnership, both internally and externally.
 * Maintain high standards of professionalism and documentation.
 * Respond to unexpected problems using recognised procedures and policies.
Key Requirements
 * Excellent communication skills, able to influence, advocate, motivate and engage with children, young people and their families, including presenting to a wide range of audiences.
 * Strong listening skills, able to support children and families by understanding their point of view in a non‑judgmental manner.
 * Experience of using computer packages for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e‑mail and information research.
 * Experience undertaking a wide range of office‑based administration and clerical tasks.
 * High standard of professionalism, both personal and written.
 * Ability to adopt the school’s ethos and work collaboratively with the team.
 * Initiative to plan and prioritise workload without close supervision and respond to unexpected problems using recognised procedures and policies.
