About the Role
Reporting to Materials Manager you will be responsible for the management and control of bought in parts (BIP’s), including ordering, receipting and issuing. Stock rotation, quality and stock counts will be a key element of the role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
7. Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.
8. Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores
9. Prompt and accurate control of paperwork
10. Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries
11. Compliance with inventory control measures
12. Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures
13. Following Standard Work procedures
14. General Housekeeping Duties
About you
The successful candidate must have:
15. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations (HSE) and proper manual handling techniques
16. Previous experience of working in stores/warehouse environment
17. Ability to manage inventory, follow procedures, and meet production deadlines
18. Basic IT skills and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
19. Fork truck License, full training can be provided
