Teaching Assistants – ALN Support
Location: Swansea
Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 Monday to Friday
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Secondary Schools across Swansea, supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs.
We are collaborating with supportive and inclusive Secondary Schools that provide:
* ALN support within mainstream classrooms, and
* Specialist on-site provisions for pupils who require more targeted and individualised support.
About The Role
* Support pupils with a range of additional learning needs in secondary school settings
* Work alongside teachers to help pupils access the curriculum
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, both in mainstream lessons and specialist provisions
* Contribute to promoting positive behaviour, engagement and emotional wellbeing
* Create a safe and nurturing learning environment
What We are Looking For
* Previous experience working with children or young people with ALN
* A level-headed, adaptable and committed individual
* A passion for making a difference and helping young people
* A compassionate and easily approachable individual who’s able to build relationships and trust.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
* Hold a full UK driving license

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
