The Role
As Reception Teacher, you will deliver high-quality provision, assess children against the Early Learning Goals, lead transition work and liaise with families to secure positive outcomes. The Reception Teacher will create stimulating indoor and outdoor provision, manage learning environments and support colleagues in implementing consistent EYFS practice. The appointed Reception Teacher will commence duties January 2026 and will be central to early-years planning from January 2026. This role is based in Watford.
Person specification for the Reception Teacher:
• QTS/PGCE and proven Reception classroom experience as a Reception Teacher.
• Deep knowledge of the EYFS and strong assessment practice for the Reception Teacher.
• Excellent communication and the ability to start January 2026 in Watford.
