The main purpose of this role is to support the Talent and Development Manager to oversee the firms training and development service. This includes the firms continuous professional development (CPD) and in-house soft-skill development programme as well as overseeing all systems, processes and procedures in the training and development space.
Responsibilities Key Areas Of Focus:
Continuous Professional Development
Including:
Supporting the firms provision of CPD for our people
Supporting on the monitoring of CPD to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Seek out training and development opportunities for our people to maintain their CPD
In House Development
Including:
To support the Talent and Development Manager, Training and Development Committee and the wider People team to deliver learning and organisational development opportunities that enable optimum individual, team and business performance
Provide internal expertise to the Firm, establishing learning needs and advising on appropriate learning solutions to ensure business effectiveness, value for money and achievement of strategic objectives
Lead on the scheduling of training courses and events as well as on the creation, implementation and administration of e-learning courses
Scope, plan and deliver a range of training courses and programmes as required by the business
Source training materials and external training providers where required and manage the relationship with external training providers ensuring best value
Systems and Processes
Including:
Develop and implement internal audit and evaluation processes for all learning and development programmes, proactively seeking feedback to enable continuous improvement
Maintain knowledge of current legislation, regulatory requirements and good practice in the learning and development field
Including:
Additional Duties
Input to reports and updates, such as the monthly reports for the Board, status updates and information of interest for your area of responsibility.

Person Specification:
Skills and Experience
Working knowledge of key learning and development processes and initiatives
Experience in the design and creation of e-learning using an e-learning authoring tool or a willingness to attend training in order to become proficient
Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide range of learning and development related inquiries
Able to organise and plan own workload and use initiative to solve problems
Excellent communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to work with stakeholders across the business
Ability to analyse performance data to create training objectives
Strong organisational skills and logic
Experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, e-mail and computerised packages
HiBob experience is preferred
Working knowledge of professional accountancy qualifications preferred

Hours: 37.5 hours to be worked flexibly across five days (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Starting from £35,000
Location: Based in Norwich primarily, however must be willing to travel to other offices as required
