About the role Join our Team as a Degree Level Apprentice Area Facilities Officer! Are you keen to learn and eager to kickstart your career in Facilities Management? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Facilities Management Team as a Degree Level Apprentice Area Facilities Officer. Position: Degree Level Apprentice Area Facilities Officer Location: Bury Town Hall Type: 37 hours per week Grade - 6 (£25,989 per annum). As an Area Facilities Officer Apprentice, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in various Facilities Management functions, as we support you to achieve the level 6 BSc (Hons) Facilities and Built Asset Management apprenticeship qualification. Key Responsibilities: Support day to day facilities operations across multiple sites. Assist with ensuring full compliance with health & safety and statutory building regulations. Help to maintain and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance. Assist with sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. Help with creating safe and productive environments. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Have a level 4 qualification such as an HNC in Construction and the Built Environment (or equivalent). You should have five GCSE’s at grade 4-9 or equivalent including English and Mathematics.
