An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to support Schools' Service in the Diocese of Middlesbrough.
The Office Administrator also provides comprehensive secretarial support for other departments in the Diocese as required.
The role would suit a confident, enthusiastic Administrator ideally with experience of working with Schools, with a high degree of competence in communicating with different stakeholders and in electronic file management.
The Office Administrator (Schools' Service) supports the Director (and Deputy Director) of Education in all their day-to-day business operations. This involves a range of secretarial support functions including administration associated with Catholic Schools' inspections (for which training will be provided), collaboration with the North East Hub of Catholic Dioceses, and providing a lead administrative role in the coordination of Foundation Governors.
Other duties include course bookings, liaising with venues, diary & inbox management, arranging and taking meeting minutes, keeping electronic & paper files, and dealing with incoming queries.
The role is offered on a full-time basis (35 hours a week), but we would consider other working patterns, including part time and term time only working.
