Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

14. We are now recruiting for a full time support worker to join our team-
15. We are a house of both Ladies and Gentlemen, our age range is from 31-61
16. We have a range of different needs, including autism, learning disabilities, mental health and physical support needs. Some of us are more independent, while others require some more support with their day-to-day lives.
17. We have a strong team of support workers who are all fully trained and familiar with supporting us. Some of the training they have includes, administering medication, moving and positioning and first aid.
18. We are proud to volunteer in our community and we love the work we do, including at coffee mornings, charity shops, and 4Luis.
19. We love a party and going to social events. We enjoy going to concerts and local discos alike.
20. We have all different interests. Some of us enjoy music and dancing. Others love a local walk, coffee and a chat.
21. We are all caring and considerate and love to be helpful around our home. Some of us have our own household tasks.
22. We like our staff team to be cheerful and chatty. We would not like someone who is loud and bossy, this would tend to make some of us upset.
23. There are always at least 4 colleagues on shift, but we only have one waking night shift.
Shift Patterns
24. We like our staff to work both mornings and evenings with a mixture of shifts, from 8 am to 10 pm. Sometimes we may need our support workers to stay back if we are going out late to the pub, social events, concerts, theatre shows etc. We also have waking nights from 10 pm to 8 am.
