What you’ll be doing… As an Assistant Management Accounts Manager, you’ll support the management accounts team by preparing accurate financial information to aid business decision-making. You’ll assist in producing management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis, helping to drive financial performance and control. Manage a portfolio of 100 site accounts, producing a P&L statement for each and ensuring all contract terms are accurately reflected. Process accruals and prepayments at month-end, ensuring site balance sheets are accurate, fully reconciled, and compliant. Perform account analysis and prepare variance commentary comparing actual results to budget. Conduct periodic contract reviews, ensuring terms are aligned with accounting records. Ensure client invoicing is accurate and consistent with P&L data. Liaise with stakeholders to understand performance, review processes, and deliver training where necessary. Provide financial support and guidance to the business as required. Monitor and review site bookkeeping systems, identifying and correcting errors. Analyze cost structures, control expenses, and optimize resource use. Identify risks, ensure internal controls, and maintain regulatory compliance.
