Electrical Labourer
Rate: £19.74 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: London – Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Chelsea
Contract Type: Temporary / Contract- Interviews next week then start date will be the following Monday
About the Role
We are recruiting an Electrical Labourer to support electrical safety and compliance work across residential properties in Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Chelsea. The role involves visiting properties to assist with inspections of smoke detection systems, confirming their locations, expiry dates, and level of protection, and collecting photographic evidence.
You will use Total Mobile software via a tablet to complete work-complete forms, ensuring all inspections are accurately recorded in line with compliance requirements.
Please note:
1. This role does not include a company vehicle
2. Travel costs incurred during working hours will be reimbursed
Key Responsibilities
3. Visit residential properties across Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Chelsea
4. Support electrical safety and smoke detection compliance checks
5. Confirm smoke alarm type, location, expiry dates, and coverage
6. Capture photographic evidence as required
7. Complete all documentation using Total Mobile software
8. Work safely and professionally within occupied homes

9. Experience as an Electrical Labourer, Mate, or similar role
10. Domestic or social housing experience preferred
11. Confident using tablets and mobile IT systems
12. Good attention to detail and strong communication skills
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
