Cyber Security Product Champion — Permanent | Eastleigh / Southampton | Flexible Salary + Hybrid Working
We are seeking a Cyber Security Product Champion to join a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation based in the Southampton / Eastleigh area.
This is a key role supporting compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act, ensuring required cybersecurity procedures are implemented by September 2026, with full compliance achieved by December 2027.
Responsibilities
* You will take ownership of product cybersecurity processes, embedding security into software and engineering development in line with IEC (phone number removed)-1. Working across engineering, QA, information security, and corporate teams, you will identify gaps, develop improvement plans, and influence stakeholders to drive regulatory compliance and secure-by-design principles across the business.
* This role would suit someone with a cyber security background within life sciences, manufacturing, production, or industrial equipment environments.
Essential Experience / Qualifications
* Strong cyber security background within engineering or product development environments
* Understanding of regulatory compliance and cyber security frameworks
* Familiarity with IEC (phone number removed)-1 or similar standards
* Experience conducting gap analysis and implementing process improvements
* Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
