GSL Education are hiring Learning Support Assistants to work in schools across Nottingham, including the NG11 area, supporting pupils who need extra guidance to access the curriculum.
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will support teachers, assist learners with diverse needs, and help maintain an inclusive classroom. Your role is to build pupils’ confidence, engagement, and independence throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group assistance during lessons.
* Help pupils stay focused and engaged with learning activities.
* Support the teacher with classroom organisation and preparation.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social development.
* Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally as a Learning Support Assistant.
* A supportive, flexible, and caring approach to learning support.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliability and adaptability within different school settings.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
