As a Public Sector Recruitment Consultant to join a respected East Midlands recruitment business with an established footprint across the region. Operating within government -both central and local -education, housing, charity, and not-for-profit organisations, this Public Sector Recruitment role offers a warm desk with long-standing client relationships and active vacancies. This is a high-impact Public Sector Recruitment position where youll work closely with senior leadership, deepen specialist networks, and progress within a business that truly invests in its consultants. The Role You will be responsible for developing and delivering Public Sector Recruitment solutions with a focus on: Technology, Digital & IT Developers, Infrastructure, Data, Cyber, BA/PM roles Transformation & Change Change Managers, PMO, Programme/Project Managers, Business Transformation Corporate & Professional Services HR, Finance, Governance, Compliance, Customer Services Key Responsibilities: Managing a full 360 Public Sector Recruitment desk across perm or contract/interim markets Growing and nurturing relationships with existing Public Sector clients Developing new opportunities through targeted business development Building specialist talent pools and managing end-to-end recruitment processes Staying up to date with Public Sector frameworks, compliance, and market changes Representing the brand professionally through client meetings and candidate engagement Delivering a consultative, value-led recruitment solution Experience Required You will thrive in this role if you have: Experience as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally within Public Sector Recruitment, Government, Tech, Transformation & Change, or Professional Services A strong 360 billing history Excellent client and candidate relationship-building skills An understanding of (or willingness to learn) Public Sector compliance and frameworks Confidence managing the full recruitment lifecycle We also welcome private-sector consultants who want to transition into Public Sector Recruitment.
