The role:
Management of the Accounts Payable team
Continuity of ledger day-to-day operations and report provision
Provide expert ledger support to the wider business
Timely, accurate completion of month-end, year-end, and budgetary timetables
Co-ordination and prioritisation of day-to-day ledger tasks, providing support and escalation as required
Drive continuous improvement and process innovation within the Accounts Payable team. The person:
Experience working in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment.
Proven supervisory skills
Experienced in providing financial support to non-financial managers
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others
Shows initiative and is prepared to make decisions in areas of responsibility
