Digital Workplace Lead – Ballymena | Up to £60,000 | Permanent
A large and growing organisation is seeking a Digital Workplace Lead to design, implement and lead a modern digital workplace platform across a group of businesses.
This role will play a key part in delivering a Group-wide collaboration and intranet environment built on Microsoft 365, creating a single digital hub for communication, knowledge sharing and collaboration across multiple companies.
The successful candidate will combine technical architecture, platform design, governance and user experience to deliver a scalable digital workplace that improves employee productivity and engagement.
The Role
You will lead the design and delivery of a modern digital workplace environment built on Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Viva.
* Developing and leading the Group digital workplace strategy
* Designing and implementing a modern intranet platform using SharePoint Online
* Creating the information architecture, site hierarchy and navigation structure
* Establishing governance and standards for Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
* Optimising collaboration environments across Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
* Implementing AI-enabled workplace tools and automation
* Driving adoption of the digital workplace platform across the organisation
* Working closely with internal departments to ensure the platform supports communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing
What Were Looking For
* Proven experience delivering enterprise intranet or digital workplace platforms
* Strong expertise in SharePoint Online architecture and development
* Experience implementing collaboration environments using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
* Experience defining governance, standards and information architecture
* Experience delivering technology platforms used by large user bases
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Experience
* Microsoft Viva
* SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
* Microsoft Graph / APIs
* Power Platform
* Experience working across multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environments
* Relevant Microsoft certifications are beneficial but not essential.
