Job Description
* Manage customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
* Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate records.
* Address and resolve any discrepancies in payments or invoices promptly.
* Prepare and provide accurate financial reports related to credit control activities.
* Collaborate with internal departments to address client account issues efficiently.
* Maintain clear communication with clients regarding payment terms and deadlines.
* Support the accounting team with administrative and financial tasks as needed.
* Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures at all times.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Previous experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* An ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
* Problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
