A Little More About Your Role…
We have a new opportunity for a Project Controller to join our Local Government Project Delivery Team in Norwich, supporting a portfolio of significant county-wide programmes.
In this role you will play a central role in ensuring accurate programme forecasting, performance tracking, cost management, and data integrity across our live commissions. You will be required to work closely with technical teams across the UK and our Global Capability Centre in India to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
Alongside our Project Managers and Project Directors, our Project Controls function forms a market‑leading capability—providing clients with clarity, reliability, and confidence in their project performance.

This Is a Varied Role, With Responsibilities Including
Coordinate with project team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
Undertake internal audits of project file structures and contents.
Develop, maintain, and implement stakeholder management plans.
Ensure invoicing and cash collection are completed in accordance with business processes and procedures.
Prioritise client satisfaction by building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and develop trusted relationships with colleagues to ensure effective coordination and mutually beneficial outcomes.
Monitor project budgets, schedules, and scope to ensure alignment with delivery targets.
Prepare performance reports and dashboards for project leadership, including financial monitoring and identification of change.
Act as the financial and scheduling control point for Project Managers.
Produce project controls reports to meet client and business requirements, such as financial monitoring and identification of change.
We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have
Experience in managing a range of project management activities, systems and processes.
A good understanding of commercial and financial project management.
Sound organisational skills and excellent communications skills.
Experience in producing programmes using MS Project.
Achieved, or working toward, professional status through the Association for Project Management or similar.
