The Governors of Aberdare Community School are seeking to appoint an excellent and committed Leader of Learning within our school.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate very high standards in their own delivery and be committed to raising standards and achievement across the department.
The successful candidate will
•Be an outstanding class teacher with excellent class management skills
•Ensure that every child matters and that every child succeeds within the subject area
•Be able to lead a team effectively
•Have a proven track record of departmental improvement.
The school opened in the summer of 2015 and is part of the 21st Century school building programme. Our facilities include a modern teaching environment with state of the art computer and technology facilities, including a Lecture Theatre. The school is attached to the Sobell Leisure Centre which offers extensive opportunities for pupils, including an all-weather playing facility and newly opened athletics stadium.

Interviews will be held during week of 24th November (TBC) at the school.
