As part of this commitment, we are seeking a Male Teaching Assistant who can bring strong guidance, stability, and inspiration to the students—particularly those who would benefit from a positive male influence in their day-to-day school experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who can support both the academic and personal growth of our pupils. In this role, you will work closely with teachers, provide targeted support to students, and act as a consistent role model within the school community. The ideal candidate will combine empathy with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive.
Key Duties Include:
* Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging, well-structured lessons
* Offering one-to-one and small-group support for students who need extra guidance
* Being a visible, positive role model—showcasing good character, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills
* Helping maintain good behaviour and a respectful, productive classroom atmosphere
* Encouraging pupils to develop effective study habits, organisation skills, and a positive mindset
* Getting involved in extracurricular activities and school events to build meaningful connections with students
* Working alongside teachers, staff, and parents to support pupils’ academic and personal development
* Completing administrative and organisational tasks as required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
