Job Description
Axcis is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH and behaviour support assistant to join a large, supportive team at a secondary mainstream school in Cheshire East. The role involves working with children in KS4, serving as their role model and mentor.
Requirements
1. Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEMH needs or behaviour challenges (highly desirable).
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Patience, empathy, and rapport-building abilities.
4. Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.
5. Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
