Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
1. Electrical delivery on high rise and/or complex projects.
2. Undertake and oversee design work from concept through to detailed design ensuring technical excellence, maintaining outstanding levels of client service at all times.
3. Complete and present designs in a highly visual and graphical style.
4. Act in the capacity of Lead Mechanical Designer, to co-ordinate the tasks so all deadlines are met.
5. React quickly to client and architectural requirements for plant space, riser requirements and energy strategy.
6. Be involved in competitions where innovative thinking is required.
7. Have a sustainable mindset to develop and embed sustainable principles within our designs.
The key deliverables over the first 12-24 months for this role will be:
1. Become an integral part of the high rise spearhead team taking responsibility for electrical design of projects.
2. Ensuring technical quality in electrical design output.
3. Help deliver projects profitably and to the satisfaction of our clients.

1. To be a qualified Engineer with 8-10 years experience having a proven and demonstrable track record for your core discipline and a working knowledge of complimentary disciplines.
2. Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
3. To hold a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree.
4. To be a Chartered Engineer or be working towards IEng or CEng status.
5. To have an appreciation of commercial and technical risks and to act appropriately upon them.
6. To have an interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools.
7. Expertise in Revit is essential, with skills in Rhino and Grasshopper preferred.
8. The right candidate will have a portfolio which demonstrates creative thinking, flair and broad range of technical skills.
9. Able to present engineering concepts to a high standard of visual and graphic design.
10. Excellent spoken and written English for writing documents and the ability to be client facing for presentations and design workshops.
11. Be prepared for international project work.
