The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon with 2–3 years’ experience to join a modern, well-equipped practice that truly values its people and patients. You’ll be working alongside an experienced and dedicated team of 2 Vets, 1 RVN, Veterinary Assistants, and a warm, knowledgeable reception team. What You’ll Be Doing: Carrying out thorough clinical examinations and diagnostics Performing a range of surgical procedures from routine neuters to more complex operations Administering and monitoring anaesthesia Providing comprehensive post-operative care and follow-ups Advising clients on treatment plans, preventative care, and recovery support Collaborating with colleagues to deliver outstanding patient care Keeping accurate and detailed medical records Staying current with industry advancements and pursuing CPD What You’ll Need: A degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) Full RCVS registration Minimum 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in small animal practice Confident surgical and diagnostic skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills A compassionate, client-focused approach What’s on Offer: Full-time, 4-day week (9am–7pm) 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm) No out-of-hours work Supportive, collaborative team culture Access to advanced facilities including in-house lab, ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy, laser therapy and more Competitive salary and CPD support A chance to enjoy an excellent work-life balance in a picturesque setting Why Choose This Practice?
