Managers provide oversight and guidance for project assignments and work with other Competency leaders to ensure the appropriate staffing of projects across Bands. They focus on successful project execution by ensuring team members are equipped with the working knowledge to excel in their role through their expertise with the TAIT Project Process, their familiarity with the business operations, and by maintaining and implementing optimal training curriculum per Competency. Managers also mentor and coach within their Competency, guiding team members through project planning and execution, as well as leading by example via the TAIT traits and inclusive leadership framework. Responsibilities - Monitor project performance within the team and provide feedback and coaching to ensure successful project delivery - Develop and maintain strong working relationships providing mentorship and guidance - Be a consistent presence, building and supporting the team to empower their successful delivery of projects - Administrative duties for approving timesheets and keeping track of OOO requests ensuring project coverage - Work with Directors of Projects to develop and implement standardized workflows, tools, and processes to optimize project efficiency and consistency - Track department utilization and seek staffing opportunities to increase employee utilization - Work with project leads and cross-Competency Managers to ensure project needs are met - Receive and direct team escalations to resolution - Work within and across Competencies to raise and address project issues Management Responsibilities - Administer annual performance review process - Approve time off requests and ensure coverage during team member absences - Identify career development and growth opportunities for team members within projects and potential cross-Competency or -Market opportunities - Provide feedback to employees to improve performance and raise the excellence of the team - Encourage an inclusive culture that embraces the TAIT Traits and Standards of Care - Promote a culture of safety and compliance ensuring a safe and organized work environment - Provide mentorship and coaching of team members - Organize and manage workflows to ensure employees understand their duties and tasks - Actively engage in process development and optimization to enhance efficiency and quality - Cascade organization process/procedure/direction Position Requirements - Significant experience in Entertainment, Theatre, Theme Park, Location Based Entertainment, Marketing or Project or Construction Management - Experience leading project teams or management individuals preferred - Experience with common business systems and data tracking across platforms.
