Head of English / Curriculum Leader for English (Full Time) Southampton, Hampshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Permanent Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in the Southampton area to recruit an ambitious and inspirational Head of English to lead a successful and evolving department. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about English education and ready to drive rapid improvement in curriculum, teaching, and student outcomes. The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction of English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a knowledge-rich and well-sequenced curriculum while ensuring that high-quality teaching is consistently embedded across the department.
