Working under the direction of the Executive Headteacher, you will help maintain a culture of excellence in learning and teaching, where every pupil is known, valued and supported. The role Key responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting learning to meet individual needs Create a safe, consistent classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively Identify gaps in prior learning and use assessment to plan next steps and targeted support Work closely with colleagues, support staff and multi-agency professionals to provide a joined-up, holistic offer Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement Support students’ personal development, wellbeing and positive attitudes to learning Build positive relationships with families and carers, working in partnership to support progress For KS3, Science is delivered through Oak Academy, progressing into GCSE Science via AQA. Where appropriate, standalone qualifications are offered for students with lower prior attainment.
