Summary
The Boys Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is a dynamic organization supporting 200 staff across 30 Early Childhood and Out of School Time programs. Are you motivated to make a difference in children's lives? If so, we invite you to apply ASAP.
The Program Director oversees the delivery of programs and services for after-school and summer camp. They assist in planning, developing, and implementing various programs as needed.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Duties
Prepares Youth for Success
* Plans and manages programs supporting Youth Development Outcomes.
* Sets program objectives aligned with organizational goals and mission.
* Oversees daily program activities ensuring standards and goals are met.
* Ensures compliance with NH Childcare Licensing Bureau requirements.
* Encourages member participation and skill development in various activities.
* Demonstrates leadership to promote safety, conduct, and development of members.
Program Development and Implementation
* Maintains program goals ensuring health and safety standards.
* Evaluates programs regularly, tracking outcomes and responding to member needs.
* Manages program expenditures within budget.
Supervision
* Assigns and monitors work of staff and volunteers, providing feedback and training.
* Maintains records, reports activities, participation, achievements, and issues.
* Ensures effective performance of staff and volunteers.
* Oversees special events and increases program visibility via social media and communications.
Requirements
Candidates must be at least 20 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. They should meet at least one of the following:
* Qualified and employed as a site director in a school program before 2022.
* Associate’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college.
* Certification as a recreation director plus 1000 hours working with children.
* 12 credits in a relevant field plus 1000 hours working with children.
* Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education.
* 2000 hours experience working with children plus certification or coursework as specified.
Additional expectations include passing background checks and adhering to a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.
