Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit an experienced C-Check Manager for a reputable client based in Manchester. This position will oversee maintenance inputs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver allocated maintenance inputs and projects on schedule.
2. Provide assistance to Base Maintenance Management team as needed.
3. Line manage all staff within assigned area of responsibility.
4. Issue certificates of release to service for specific aircraft types within QA Staff Authorisation Document limitations.
5. Allocate tasks and responsibilities within work area.
6. Maintain progress logs and provide daily production briefings.
7. Update senior management as required.
8. Develop solutions to meet maintenance targets within budget constraints.
9. Ensure daily progress reports for aircraft under maintenance.
10. Maintain technical integrity of work under control.
11. Ensure conduct and timekeeping standards of allocated staff.
12. Maintain allocated work area to high cleanliness standards.
13. Conduct husbandry and tool audits, recording findings.
14. Conduct formal appraisals of hangar floor staff and advise on training and development opportunities.
15. Ensure Health & Safety compliance for the team.
16. Conduct DQS self-audits and coordinate responses.
17. Assist with quality audit and closure plan implementation.
18. Support creation and management of budgets.
Requirements
19. Category B licensed engineers with C certification by aircraft type.
20. Must have CAA License, ideally will hold A, A or
21. Minimum 5 years Base Maintenance experience as B1 and/or B2 certifying engineer.
22. Good working knowledge of Part Aviation Legislation.
23. Flexible approach to work in fast-changing environments.
24. Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
