KS2 Teacher – Full Academic Year Contract

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term (1 Academic Year)
Salary: M1–M6 Teacher Pay Scale (Dependent on Experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming school community in Amesbury from September 2026 on a full academic year contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to play a key role in settling in a new cohort for the start of the academic year, helping pupils make a confident and positive transition into KS2 while creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
The Role:
The successful candidate will:
* Lead and support a KS2 class throughout the academic year
* Help prepare pupils for a successful start to the new school year
* Establish positive routines, expectations, and classroom culture
* Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that support academic progress
* Encourage pupils’ personal development, confidence, and wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience teaching within KS2
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Be passionate about supporting pupils both academically and personally
* Show excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Thrive in a nurturing and team-focused environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
