The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional with a genuine passion for agricultural and commercial property law to join a specialist team and build a high-quality caseload.
You will work on a broad range of agricultural and commercial property matters, supporting existing clients while helping to grow and develop the practice.
Key Responsibilities
You will handle a varied and interesting caseload, including:
* Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings Act Tenancies
* Acquisition and sale of farms and rural property
* Easements, transfers, and renewables-related property work
* Auction packs, SDLT, Land Registry, and Companies House submissions
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, agents, and other stakeholders
* Promoting the team's expertise through marketing and business development activities
* Maintaining accurate time records, ensuring billing compliance, and managing file performance
* Maximising cross-referral opportunities with other teams and service lines
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Qualified Solicitor and demonstrable experience in agricultural, residential, or commercial property
* A strong interest in and passion for agricultural law (England and Wales)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload
* Good working knowledge of AML regulations and the Solicitors Accounts Rules
* Confident user of MS Office and case management systems
