Job overview Working within the Cardiac Investigations team, based at the brand new Peterborough Community Diagnostic Centre, you will support the Cardiology team with provision of Cardiac Diagnostic testing and assessment. You will have excellent skills in performing 12 lead ECG and ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring. You will be expected to complete the baseline professional body examinations in this area. You will gain skills in phlebotomy and may learn cannulation as part of this role. You will support your colleagues in the Echocardiography team on a daily basis. *Please Note the advert may close sooner than the date advertised due to levels of interest, closing of the advert will happen with no notice* Advert To carry out in a caring and efficient manner, the appropriate diagnostic investigations of the patient in accordance with Trust and department procedures and protocols and in line with level of competency. To include: 12 Lead ECG, ECG / BP Ambulatory Monitoring preparation and fitting, to support the Echo team undertaking cardiac ultrasound scans by greeting patients and bringing them into the testing area, taking their height and weight, checking blood pressures and preparing the equipment.
