OneStream Business Analyst - Hybrid Working
Our client, a global Insurance company, is seeking a Business Analyst with OneStream experience to join on a hybrid working contract based in London.
This role is within the Finance Change Team and focuses on redeveloping the OneStream Architecture, leveraging the capabilities of the OneStream MI solution. Responsibilities include writing requirements, acceptance criteria, validating solutions, managing product backlog, and facilitating UAT and Business Acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
* Facilitate and write requirements and acceptance criteria for Epics and Stories
* Obtain stakeholder approval for requirements and acceptance criteria
* Review proposed solution designs to meet requirements and acceptance criteria
* Support formulation and acceptance of key design decisions
* Validate implementation during sprint reviews and testing phases, providing feedback and raising bugs
* Facilitate Data Reconciliation
* Manage and review product backlog, prioritization, and sizing sessions
* Refine product backlog to reflect current priorities
* Support Change Requests (CRs) formulation, impact assessment, and recommendations
* Conduct defect triage to identify and prioritize bugs and feedback
Knowledge and Experience
* Strong influencing, negotiating, and communication skills
* Understanding of project governance and lifecycle
* Analytical and organizational skills with the ability to challenge solutions
* Financial literacy from detail to C-suite level
* Experience with financial reporting, statutory or management reporting, or financial planning
* Self-managing with the ability to work remotely
* Stakeholder management skills
* Experience working with 3rd party consultants on OneStream Financial Models
* Excellent requirements specification skills for Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
* Experience managing agile product backlogs in Scrum
* Knowledge of process and requirements modeling
* Data modeling of financial data and schemas
* Data analysis and reconciliation skills
* Defect triage and bug prioritization
* Experience with financial modeling and statutory reporting platforms
Minimum Experience
1. 7+ years in finance software implementations and MI requirements delivery
2. Understanding of accounting principles and EPM solutions
3. 5+ years in a global business environment
4. 5+ years in Agile Scrum as a Product Owner or Business Analyst
5. Experience with OneStream is beneficial
6. Data extraction and analysis from financial systems
7. Experience in agile delivery methods
