Overview

Sales Account Manager - Working from home, but servicing the Yeovil area. Monday to Friday - 35 hour week, plus Company car. £30-£38,000 dependent on experience. Working from home, but travelling around the Yeovil area to service clients and pick up new business through leads, you will receive a company car also.


Responsibilities

* Travel around the Yeovil area to service clients and pick up new business through leads.
* Build relationships and provide top-notch customer service.
* Work as a Field Sales professional, home-based but covering the Yeovil area, serving agricultural clients and offering tailored solutions and exceptional service.
* Use farming knowledge to understand risks and challenges faced by clients (not essential, but preferred).
* Proactively generate leads and close deals; experience in telesales to generate leads is an advantage.
* Manage time effectively with a high level of organisation and a commitment to customer service.
* Account management: maintain strong relationships with existing clients while seeking new opportunities.
* Develop the insurance portfolio within a defined geographical area, visiting Members and new prospects to discuss insurance products and promote health and safety on the farm.
* Interact with people from diverse backgrounds and grow the membership base around the home area.
* Natural account manager, confident negotiator and results-driven.


Qualifications

* An honest and value-driven approach.
* Passion for delivering exceptional service to farming and business Members.
* Willingness to develop yourself and clients' business.
* Team player who collaborates effectively within a team.
* Proactive, self-starting to drive success and delivery.
* Confident communicator and decision maker.
* Great rapport-building skills and highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload.
* Ability to handle complex situations regularly.
* Good IT skills, including CRM and Microsoft Office.
* Aptitude for and experience of telesales and lead generation.
* Insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience in or knowledge of the agricultural sector and understanding of agricultural/rural issues.
