Duties…
1. Working for a leading manufacturing firm, with an excellent global reputation for providing innovative solutions to their customers
2. Processing purchase orders, monitoring delivery times, chasing suppliers as necessary and updating stock records
3. Resolving all supplier issues, such as damaged goods, late delivery etc.
4. Contacting vendors to obtain price and availability information.
5. Making supplier selections or suggestions.
6. Ensure that materials, equipment, and supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
7. Expediting – Follow up suppliers to ensure adherence to delivery schedule.
8. Verify prices with suppliers and amend purchase orders if necessary
9. Preparing and issue quotes for parts, processing sales orders
Job Desirables…
10. Knowledge of working in a procurement team previously
11. Excellent supplier relationship building skills
12. Strong MS Office and systems knowledge
